Established in 2010 as SJB Children's Choir, Seraphim Makati was born out of the desire to animate the Children’s Mass before by the then SJB Parish Priest, Fr Ting Miciano. He requested MOMCA, headed by Gaylord Villa, to form a choir composed of children aged seven to sixteen years old, who are willing to volunteer their time and talents to serve the church.

Since then, the group had attended several workshops, trainings and recitals. It has evolved through participation in numerous church activities (cantata and Harana concerts) and outside invitations.

The choir is headed by Gaylord Villa, with its trainor and conductor Mr Wesley Agpaua.
